The Composers
Robert Carver
The Scottish composer Robert Carver's music made a significant contribution to the music of the scottish renaissance. Little is known about him, with even his dates of birth and death being points of some dispute. He was born in approximately 1490, and died after 1546.
Notes
The Mass 'Dum sacrum mysterium' is Carver's earliest known work. It is though to have been composed in 1513, when the composer was in his early twenties.
