Johann Strauss II's waltz An der Schönen blauen Donau (on the Beautiful Blue Danube) is one of the most famous works in the musical canon. Arranged and transcribed for endless combinations of instruments, it receives a wonderful virtuosic treatment in Schulz-Evler's Arabesques on Themes from The Blue Danube.
