Notes
In 1981 the 82 year old film director George Cukor made Rich and Famous, a portrayal of two women writers whose differing lifestyles, fortunes, and relationships lead to a series of petty and highly unpleasant arguments. The film was undistinguished, but its score contained a beautiful and memorable theme by French composer Georges Delerue. Delerue's earlier credits include Resnais' Hiroshima Mon Amour, Zinnemann's A Man for All Seasons, and a number of scores for François Truffaut.
