Notes
Roger Moore's best outing as James Bond, The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), is a vast improvement on his slapstick-filled previous efforts. With an emphasis on characterisation, and Barbara Bach as a seductive Russian agent, this Bond film hits all the right buttons. The oscar-nominated score by Marvin Hamlisch is fresh and exciting and includes a funk re-working of the Bond theme. The title song, Nobody Does it Better, sung by Carly Simon, is many fans' favourite.
