This is an arrangement of the Brahms violin concerto for the piano. It is a new release - just came out. The full recording is here: http://www.classical.com/album/CCSSA29410 It is amazing that someone has put so much effort into this, and actually despite my doubts it is a very convincing composition. Wonderful Brahms... clearly the pianist has a great respect for him, and has found a way of enriching the repertoire with something new. I know that many people will say this is not the 'right thing to do'. However, pianists need to find a way of making their mark, and I believe it is entirely acceptable.
