Blank Player Window

Symptoms

  • The player window opens, but is blank (white)
  • The player window may open, showing a notice which says that you require the Macromedia Flash Player
  • There is no sound.

Cause

  • You have the wrong version of the Macromedia Flash Player.
  • You version of Flash has been installed incorrectly

Solution

You need to have Flash version 6 or newer to be compatible with Classical World. You can upgrade to the latest version of the Macromedia Flash player by visiting the Macromedia Website here:

The Flash player is a small download of around 800kb.
