- Quadrille
- A French dance in five sections, alternating between 6/8 and 2/4 time, popular in the 19th century
- Quadruplet
- Four notes to be played in the time normally occupied by three
- Quartet
- A piece of music written for four performers, especially two violins, viola and cello. Also the group of players itself
- Quintet
- A piece of music written for five performers, or the group of players itself
- Quintuple Time
- A time signature in which there are five beats to the bar, such as 5/4 or 5/8 time
- Quintuplet
- A group of five notes to be performed in the time normally occupied by four
