The soprano Marcella Polidori studied at the Turin Conservatoire with Carla Castellani, Rudolfo Celletti, Alfredo Kraus and Renata Scotto. The winner of several competitions in Turin, in 1990 she sang at the RAI Auditorium in a performance of Mozart's Missa Brevis K275. Other notable performances include a 1994 appearance at Milan Conservatoire to sing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Marcella's extensive operatic repertoire includes Puccini's La bohème, Verdi's La Traviata and Nabucco, Prokofiev's The Fiery Angel, and Donizetti's Il Campanello. Her singing has taken her to La Scala, Milan, where she has worked with Riccardo Muti, and to Rome's Teatro dell'Opera.
