Johann Heinrich Schmelzer


Trained at the Turin Conservatoire, soprano Angela Venturino has won a myriad of national and international competitions. In 1993 she made her debut as the Countess in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro at Pisa's Teatro Verdi, and has followed this with roles in Rigoletto, The Barber of Seville, and La Traviata in some of Italy's greatest opera venues. Alongside an extensive operatic repertoire, she also performs operetta and sacred vocal music, and has recently sung Mozart's Exultate Jubilate, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Gounod's Messe Solennelle de Sainte C├ęcile.
