One of Britain's leading tenors, Ian Partridge was trained at the Royal College and Guildhall School of Music. With an astonishingly wide repertoire that ranges from Monteverdi and Bach through German Lied and English songs to contemporary composers, Ian has built an enviable reputation.

His discography includes a highly acclaimed recording of Schubert's Die schöne Mullerin, Schumann's Dichterliebe and a complete set of Handel's Chandos Anthems with The Sixteen Choir and Orchestra. He continues to give recitals, accompanied by his sister, Jennifer, and has collaborated with the actress Prunella Scales in over 300 performances of An Evening with Queen Victoria.

Ian is a professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London and, in 1992, was awarded the CBE for his services to music.
