Guillaume (Jean Joseph Nicolas) Lekeu

Belgian Born 20 Jan 1870 Died 21 Jan 1894

The Belgian composer, Guillaume Lekeu, studied in Paris with his compatriot Cèsar Franck and with Vincent d'Indy.

His career was brusquely interrupted by illness and he died of typhoid fever at the age of 24.
