Granville Bantock

One of the finest basses of his generation, Nicola Ghiuselev studied painting and plastic arts at the Fine Arts Academy in Sofia, before he trained as a singer with Hristo Brumbarov. He joined the National Opera where he made his debut as Timur in Puccini's Turnadot, and has since developed an international career.

He has made numerous appearances at the world's great opera houses, mostly performing the Russian repertory but is also noted for his interpretations of Verdi.
