Franz Waxman
German Born 24 Dec 1906 Died 24 Feb 1967After emigrating to America the German-born composer, Franz Waxman, made his career in Hollywood where he wrote a number of scores for films such as "The Bride of Frankenstein", "Captain Courageous" and "Peyton Place".
He also composed music for Daphne du Maurier's novel "Rebecca".
