Scottish soprano Ann Archibald was born in 1967 and studied singing and piano at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, where she won numerous prizes. She has sung at the Edinburgh Festival, and made her debut with Scottish Opera in 1992 as Papagena. She is regularly to be seen on the operatic and concert stages throughout the United Kingdom, and in the major music festivals of Europe.
